I am currently working at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and have completed four months as the Design Scheduler III for The New York City Transit Authority at their Sandy Recovery and Resiliency Division in New York City, New York. As the Design Scheduler III, I assisted and supported the Sandy Recovery and Resiliency Division in Scheduling in numerous Sandy repair and recovery projects worth up to 250 million dollars that are under Design and under Construction. Process Plant: The scope of the mineral processing plant includes: primary crushing, coarse ore conveying with mill feed stockpile with reclaim apron feeders; two parallel semi-autogenously (SAG) mill lines with two ball mills per line; bulk rougher flotation and cleaners; molybdenum circuit; copper concentrate thickener; copper concentrate pumping to a filtration plant and concentrate storage (both to be constructed by another contractor) at the Port Facility; mechanical/electrical maintenance facilities; and assay laboratory and other infrastructure to support the Process Plant.

 

Power Plant: Each power plant unit will consist of a subcritical pulverized coal fired boiler, an air quality control system utilizing low NOx burners, baghouses for particulate removal and seawater flue gas desulfurization, a continuous emissions monitoring system, a steam turbine generator with full condensing and reheat, turbine water induction prevention, condenser cooling via once through sea water, a closed cooling water system, a condensate system, a boiler feedwater system, balance of plant systems, electrical equipment, control equipment, coal delivery including handling and storage, ash handling including storage and disposal, and the supporting civil, structural, and architectural features.

A 230kV switchyard where the 230kV two circuits transmission line of the Panamanian grid will be connected is also part of the PACO Project.

 

Balance of Plant: The mine/plant site design includes buildings and structures for repair and maintenance of mine and plant equipment, and the nearby Eastern Infrastructure Area includes facilities for personnel accommodations, administration, and security.

Under contract with DAEWOO ENGINEERING, now known as POSCO ENGINEERING, we build the associated pipeline and desalination plant.

 

Scopes of Duties:

 

·          Developed project schedule, maintained, and updated the construction schedule for the project, utilizing Primavera P6 Ver 8.0 from Nov-2009 to 18-Sept-2012.

·          Prepare a daily project interference report for the Management that recognized potential impacts to the project schedule.

·          Daily capture of project activity via digital photographs, stored in weekly files. Matched photos with the activity IDs to adequately track progress with and brief descriptions.

·          Provided daily progress reports for the piping installation progress by tracking di-inches welded per day by the type of material, by the piping system and finally the number of welders. This would be compared to planned welding programs.
